The RAC process could be ideal for you as it provides you with the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and competencies through varied mechanisms, such as interviews, portfolios, evaluations, projects, workplace demonstrations, etc. Is RAC for you?
Advantages of the RAC process
If you are an adult with significant experience, the RAC process may allow you to:
- Be formally evaluated for the competencies included in a chosen program of study without having to attend the courses for that program.
- Shorten the time it would take you to earn an official diploma, such as an AEC or a DEC.
- Obtain a formal record of your competencies for a given program of study.
- Have access to partial training targeted to your specific needs (online, by phone, in small groups) and offered at variable times (nights, weekends, days).
